Business Model
TCI currently licenses its PLL, DLL and DDR PHY IP directly to customers and
receives licensing fees for the design and integration services. Licensing
terms are very attractive and do not require royalty payments. In addition,
TCI has partnerships with other semiconductor companies that provide
indirect sales channels for its licensed products. All TCI products are
designed and packaged in a way that makes it possible for customers to
easily choose and integrate a design that meets their specific needs.
Technology Evaluation
Customers who are interested in licensing TCI's PLL, DLL and DDR PHY IP
should download TCI's standard Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), have
it signed by a manager at the director level or above, and e-mail back a PDF
version to sales@truecircuits.com.
The NDA specifies the terms and conditions to which a customer must agree in
order to obtain access to detailed TCI product specifications via the
Products section of this website.
When the signed NDA is received by TCI, it will be reviewed for completeness
and the signer will be independently verified, usually on the same day. If
the NDA is complete, TCI will email back a counter-signed PDF version and an
account ID and password which will allow complete access to TCI product
specifications.
Licensing
TCI is the sole owner of the intellectual property on which all TCI PLL, DLL
and DDR PHY designs are based. Customers that want to license TCI's PLL and
DLL hard macros should complete the NDA filing process and contact TCI Sales
at (650) 949-3400
or sales@truecircuits.com
to obtain pricing information and specific licensing terms.
